Sarcoidosis is a systemic, granulomatous disease of unknown origin and the most common structures are intrathoracic lymph nodes and lungs. Neurosarcoidosis is a serious but rare form of sarcoidosis. Clinically detectable nervous system involvement in sarcoidosis is less than 10%. Common forms of neurosarcoidosis are cranial nerve involvement, especially facial paralysis, hypothalamic and hypopituitary lesions. Cranial nerve paralysis, headache, ataxia, impairment of cognitive functions, loss of strength and convulsions may be seen in the clinical state. Early diagnosis and treatment is life-saving. We present a case of neurosarcoidosis presenting with cranial and ocular involvement in order to draw attention to diagnosis and treatment because it is rare.
